Combined sewer, Freising (Germany)
This combined sewer with a length of 5.7 km was driven through the aquifer using an earth-pressure-balance shield. The reinforced concrete pipes have an internal diameter of up to DN 2200.
Cut-off wall at Haveleck, Berlin
Installation of a 570 m long and 60 cm thick single-phase cut-off wall for the containment of contamination on an 18,500 m² site located right next to the river Havel. With a max. depth of 54 m, the cut-off wall panels extend 2 m into the brown-coal silt aquiclude. The single-phase cut-off wall covers an area of 26,000 m²
Digesters
These three egg-shaped, prestressed concrete digesters have a capacity of 16,700 m³ each, making them the largest structures of this type in the world. They have a diameter of 29.4 m and a height of 46.7 m.*
Pumped-storage plant, Goldisthal
Lignite-fired power stations are difficult to regulate: they supply the same amount of energy around the clock. The surplus electricity generated at night is used by pumped-storage plants to replenish the upper reservoir. During the day, hydropower plants can then supply peak-load electricity to the grid within a matter of seconds. With a total capacity of 1,060 MW, the Goldisthal pumped-storage plant ranks among the largest and technically most advanced plants of this type in Europe. The upper reservoir holds 12 million m³ of water; the machine hall and transformer cavern have a total excavated volume of 185,000 m³. There is a difference in elevation of 300 m between the upper and the lower reservoir.*
Denitrification-Nitrification
Denitrification is a process where the nitrogen bonded in the nitrate is transformed into molecular nitrogen by bacteria. As a result, the nitrogen is no longer usable as a source of nutrients for plants. It has no impact anymore as a fertilizer and thus is no longer environmentally relevant.
Long arm agitator
The task of a long arm agitator is to mix the substrate evenly and carefully. At approx. 40 rpm it creates a fl ow and motion in the vessel and ensures that the gas creating bacteria will have continuous and optimal conditions.
Perfect Solutions for Waste and Disposal Engineering
Biogas plants by WELtec are not only renewable resource plants: In the area of waste and disposal engineering, WELtec BioPower realises optimum solutions in order to dispose of substrates that are subject to the EC hygiene regulations.
Submersible agitators
In addition to the long arm agitators we also use submersible agitators. These agitators ensure a fast and targeted mixing of fl oating and sedimenting substrates and are used to maintain a minimum crust formation in the digester.
Exhaust air treatment plants
Air discharged during industrial manufacturing processes contains pollutants. Venti Oelde can offer a range of exemplary solutions particularly to solve problems which may arise. During running production the air with its substance concentration is collected, continuously removed and replenished by fresh air. Any thermal energy it contains can be economically recovered by means of a heat exchanger. Absorption plants Collection from workplace Collection from baths Collection of vapours and fumes Removal of smells Collection of solvents Collection of oil and emulsion vapours Process gas treatment Welding fumes exhaust Removal of thermal energy Components
Waste processing technology
Despite efficient collecting systems for re-usable materials, large amounts of residual waste are produced every day and these have to be disposed of. Different methods are used to process this residual waste so as to recover its potential of energy and raw material. Venti Oelde provides support for companies involved in waste processing both in materials handling and separation into their individual components. Ventilating Mechanical conveyors Pneumatic conveyors Magnetic separators Wet scrubbers Baling presses Gravity separators Screens Dry dust collectors Fans Vibrating separators Eddy-current separators Grinders
Cremation of animals
Cremation of domestic animals (dogs, cats, etc.) Incineration of cardasses generated in slaughterhouse and meat producing companies Cremaion of infected carcasses (i.e. BSE, bird flue, etc.) Infected carcasses constitue huge potential dangers with regard to spreading epizootic decease. That is why these infected animals must be taken out of the herd and to the slaughtering straight away. To grant the destruction of all decease agents and to avoid the spreading of animal decease there is only one solution: to burn the carcasses. Apart from incinerators for small carcasses (up to a maximum weight of 75 kg) also produces technology for large carcasses (up to a maximum weight of 600 kg). These incinerators are unique. is the only manufacturer of incinerators worldwide with proven technology in burning e. g. a whole cow can be processed without the need of cutting it into pieces beforehand.
Hazardous waste
Cremation of domestic and commercial waste Incineration of hazardous waste (solid and liquid) A big problem is the environmentally sound management of hazardous wastes such as paint, solvents, oil residues, laboratory waste, etc... Based on the same principle as for hospital waste incinerators but especially tailored to the specific needs of the hazardous waste combustion confomrists, offers small hazardous waste incinerators in sizes of 20 kg/h up do 500 kg/h. The incinerators of sizes 100 kg/h an up can be equipped with a flue gas cleanings system . This ensures that all current applicable emission limits are respected, paricularly according to the EU standard 2000/76/CE.
Hospital waste
Waste from operating theatres General waste Food leftovers Laboratory waste Organs Hospital, outpatient clinics and laboratory waste needs a special waste management. Waste like this consists in most of the cases of highly infectious germs. If you look at the srgery - the waste being produced there contains rests of swabs, blood, stored in blood banks etc... For ethological reasons also the handling of taken internal organs or apmputates needs special attention. And that is exactly what our K series is specialized in
Humans crematories
In many cultures throughout the world it is commonly given, to burn the bodies of gone relatives and put the ash to rest either in an urn or to strew it into a river or the sea. Our unique burning technology is even for this method best on the market. That is why is currently developing incinerators for burning coffins.

L series
Designed to last through time and to withstand heavy workloads, Macpresse has been designing and manufacturing conveyors for over 40 years. Macpresse conveyors come in 3 categories: L series belts -for light loads P series belts - for medium loads PP series belts - for heavy loads Macpresse conveyors are designed according to customer\'s requirements. The chain pitch goes from 125 mm to 250 mm. When damaged, metal slats are easily replaced. Conveyors can be equipped with emergency sensors automatically stopping them if an operator should accidentally fall onto the conveyor belt. If required, Macpresse conveyors can also be supplied with rubber belts. Macpresse conveyors are designed and manufactured to last and to withstand heavy workloads; all parts are bolted interchangeably.
Mac 1000
Macpresse shredders are designed for shredding waste paper. Macpresse makes three different models of paper shredders identified by the names MAC 1000, MAC 1500 and MAC 2000. Great efficiency and output, along with a particularly sturdy construction, are the design characteristics of these Macpresse shredders. Designed according to the principle of the fast single rotor with fixed hammers and high hourly production, they easily shred material in thick, big blocks such as paper reams, newspapers bundles in strapped packs, books, telephone directories and even paper reel cores. To comply with international standards, on request, our shredders can be soundproofed and equipped with a dust suppressing system. (Optional)
Mac 105
Capacity: 10/12 tons/hour The Mac 105 series has been designed specifically to compact medium quantities of different grades of materials. The Mac 105 is designed to process multiple grades of materials i.e. waste paper, plastic waste, aluminum and ferrous cans, and many other products to be recycled. For compacting cellulose materials with high specific gravity (newspapers, magazines), an electro-mechanic device called "fluffer" is used to optimize bale density
Waste balers
Dense wrapped bales make storing MSW in the open possible Balers resolve many of the problems connected with storing and moving waste from town centres to landfill sites.
Water Filtration
maxit LWA is used as a filter material in a number of applications for filtering both municipal wastewater and drinking water. maxit LWA also performs well in a number of other filtering processes for dealing with industrial wastewater, fish farms and ecologically based purification methods.
