Storm & Sewer Equipment
Advanced combined and stormwater treatment in municipal combined sewers is a main issue with regard to sustainable environmental and water protection. The quality of many watercourses has significantly been increased meanwhile by building new wastewater treatment plants and upgrading or refurbishing continuous wastewater discharges. Despite all these efforts, however, there are still ecological deficits caused by floating and coarse material that is discharged from the sewer system into waters in the event of stormwater overflow discharge in combined and separated sewer systems. For the purpose of specific environmental protection appropriate measures will have to be taken in future to minimise these deficits.
Wastewater Screens
The mechanical preliminary treatment: Indispensable as a first process step ! Reliable screens for any application Fine and micro screens for separation of fine suspended material Innovative technology from one source
Aeration Products
Aeration is more than the supply of oxygen and mixing. Aeration is the cornerstone of biological wastewater treatment and controls the treatment performance and operational economics of the entire wastewater treatment facility. Analysis of wastewater treatment plant costs repeatedly shows that aeration accounts for 50 to 80% of the overall plant-operating budget. Without the right aeration technology and a properly designed aeration system, treatment performance and plant operating cost objectives cannot be attained.
Lagoon Systems
Lagoon systems have been recognized throughout the world as an economical solution for wastewater treatment. Low operating cost and minimal operator attention have made lagoon systems the preferred process solution for secondary treatment (30 mg/L BOD & 30 mg/L TSS) where land availability and proper topography permit.
Mixing Limited Applications
BioMizer™ technology is an innovative concept emphasizing the use of high efficiency diffusers to provide efficient aeration and continuous sequencing for enhanced mixing efficiency. By controlling the release of aeration energy into defined zones within the reactor, active zones are sequentially mixed for complete solids suspension. The patented BioMizer technology allows the aeration system to be paced by oxygen demand even when mixing controls the design.

Cleaning Water with treatment plants
Our broad spectrum of services ranges from consultancy and project management to plant design and construction. We offer you various financial options, such as renting and leasing
Off-Gas / Soil Vapour Treatment
Solvents Recovery Depending on the contaminant and its concentration solvent recovery is a possible option for gas treatment. The gas is led through activated carbon filters. Loaded activated carbon is afterwards treated with steam to desorb the adsorbed contaminants. The solvents are recovered by condensation of the steam-contaminant mixture. Cleaned activated carbon can be reused. Vapour Phase Activated Carbon BAUER Environment Group develops and offers various vessels filled with vapour activated carbon or active coke. Thus organic contaminants like BTEX, halogenated VOC and/or Dioxins can be treated. Additionally, we offer special solutions with impregnated activated carbon. BAUER Environment Group plants are capable of gas flows up to 30,000 m³/h. Utilisation of impregnated activated carbon allows for example the removal of sulphur compounds
Soil Vapour Extraction
Soil vapour extraction is an established technology for the in-situ and ex-situ remediation of volatile organic compounds (halogenated VOC) in soils. The process removes soil vapour contaminated with halogenated VOC and generates a mass transfer of halogenated VOC from the soil pores to the vapour phase. The technique is feasible for different site conditions: good permeable soils (sand, gravel) less permeable soils (clay) soil piles, contaminated with halogenated VOC combined with Air Sparging
Ventilation Systems
Volatilisation of volatile pollutants during remediation works necessitate additional occupational health and safety measures. As a worst case scenario the health endangerment caused by the construction measure may concern adjacent residents. Therefore and also for on-site intermediate storage facilities tent ventilation systems are an ideal safety measure. Ventilation for Excavation Pits The ventilation of excavation pits is a cost saving option in comparison to the ventilation of tent covers. It can be applied in case of temporary emissions

Automatic Distributing Valve Assemblies
Automatic Distributing Valve Assemblies are used to pressurize multiple zone distribution systems including textile filters, sand filters and drainfields. Orenco’s Automatic Distributing Valve Assemblies are mechanically operated and sequentially redirect the pump’s flow to multiple zones or cells in a distribution field. Valve actuation is accomplished by a combination of pressure and flow. Automatic Distributing Valve Assemblies allow the use of smaller horsepower pumps on large sand filters and drainfields. For example, a large community drainfield requiring 300 gpm (1,4 m3/min) can use a six-line Valve Assembly to reduce the pump flow rate requirement to only 50 gpm (0.23 m3/min). Automatic Distributing Valves are usually used in conjunction with High-Head Effluent Pumps and Biotube® Pump Vaults to provide pressure and flow requirements, and to prevent debris from fouling valve operation. An inlet ball valve and a section of clear pipe and union for each outlet are provided for a complete assembly that is easy to maintain and monitor. Ideal valve location is at the high point in the system
Orenco's Dosing Siphons
Orenco's Dosing Siphons can be used as an alternative to pumps when dosing downhill. Flow rates can range from just a few gallons per minute to several hundred gallons per minute, depending on siphon size. Dosing siphons use no moving parts. Counters are used to monitor siphon operation.
Recirculating Splitter Valves
Orenco's Recirculating Splitter Valves provide a guaranteed flow-split in recirculating wastewater treatment systems. Constructed of a PVC enclosure and ball float, Recirculating Splitter Valves redirect 100% of the incoming flow to the recirculation tank during periods in which the ball is not seated and 80% or less when the ball is seated. They can be field-adjusted for splits ranging from "no split" (as with recirculating ball valves) to a 4:1 split. The desired recirculation ratio will be achieved even during peak flows.
Split-O-Mat® series compact plants
The popular and proven plants of the Split-O-Mat® series cover the wide spectrum of chemical, physical and biological waste water treatment and recycling processes. They are suitable for industrial waste water in almost every branch and have proven themselves over and over in the last 30 years. The plants in this series are standardized, so EnviroChemie can quickly and easily deliver economical, effective solutions
The Lugan® product group
Dissolved air flotation plants for the treatment of industrial waste water Lugan® flotation plants further treat waste water resulting from wash processes, for instance from the wash stations of vehicles. After a pretreatment in a separation plant they remove emulgated oils and fats as well as heavy metals. The plants have proven themselves in a variety of industries, from the food industry to wash stations, and fulfilled the requirements of many different applications, from individual plants for an indirect return to the environment to recycling, as well as pretreatment for biological plants. The post-treatment of waste water ensures that it meets the requirements regarding pH values, hydrocarbons, lipophilic materials and heavy metals. COD and BOD values are significantly reduced.
