RS30 series
The world’s first four-shaft shredder is part of UNTHA’s RS30 series. With this series, the four-shaft shredder and perforated screen invented and patented (patent number 319535) by Anton Unterwurzacher were incorporated into an industrially produced machine for the first time. Over the last 25 years the series has been continuously developed and improved and offers highly sophisticated technology. The four-shaft shredders in this series can be supplied with three different driving powers and have been a favorite among our customers for many years. The numerous cutter and screen variants, which can be individually combined to suit your requirements, allow the shredder to be used for a wide range of applications, which is why this shredder was also originally known as the "universal shredder". Some typical applications Bark Packaging Cardboard Paper CDs Plastic bottles Chipboard Plastic packaging Files Rubber waste Films Stamping lattices Industrial waste Tetra-paks Leather Veneers Metal turnings Waste wood
S120 series
The S120 series has been developed for particularly heavy industrial use. These two-shaft shredders are also known as rotary shears and are suitable in particular for shredding metals and tires. A four-shaft shredder is often used down-stream in a second shredding process to reduce granule size even further, and particularly high through-put rates can be achieved using this combination. Even with low speeds and very high torque the machines are capable of shredding heavy gauge metals. If you need to process very bulky or awkwardly shaped metal objects, a compression feeder will help to ensure the required through-put. Some typical applications Al-Mg feeders Paper edge strips Al-Mg housings Paper sheets Aluminium sections Rolls of paper Car tires Tractor tires Electronic scrap Truck tires Metal drums
UNTHA single-shaft shredders
During the shredding process, the hydraulic swing-pusher in-feed system forces the material against the rotor carrying the exchangeable, reversible cutting blades, which shreds the material against the cutting bars. The shredded material then falls through the perforated screen. The diameter of the perforations defines the granule size.
UNTHA two-shaft shredders
The cutting discs are arranged in such a way that a cutting disc on one shaft is positioned between two cutting discs on the opposite shaft. As a result, the material is shredded both lengthways and crossways. The size of the fraction produced is determined by the width of the cutting discs and the number of teeth.
Compact dedusters
For dry dust, chips, granulates, flour, fibres, powder, etc. The BASIC C is perfectly suitable for a vast number of mediums... - e.g. for various metals (except for aluminium dust and magnesium), plastic materials, acrylic glass, paper, textiles, leather, glass, ceramics, minerals (among others natural stone, cast stone...) Advantages of BASIC C in practice: Broad range of applications Supplied with 5 m cable and plug, ready for operation Sturdy technology suited for everyday use, well arranged components which are easy to maintain Continuous operation with sturdy medium pressure fan Filter cartridge (surface 5 m²) from polyester, category M, can be cleaned manually The scope of supply includes a differential pressure indicator Easy and convenient change of 30 l dust basin
The UAS solution for ideal air cleaning
Mena 500 and Mena 1000 Developed especially for the efficient separation of emulsion aerosols with optimum cleaning effect. Prefilter for solid particles (metal particles, shavings etc.), oil and emulsion droplets using a dense prefilter element. The filter cartridge is made of glass fabric and provides for the main separation of fine aerosols. At the filter cartridge, the aerosols flow into the respective collecting basin and are discharged out of the filter housing unhindered. Long filter service lifetime guarantees high availability of the filter. Both devices are designed for mounting directly on processing machines. Assembly on a support or bracket is possible.
Conduit Tunnels
Conventionally, conduit tunnels are manufactured in complex, rectangular cast-in-place concrete building methods or from semi prefabricated parts. These have, however, a enormous need of space at the construction site facility. Disadvantageous are also the long, open trenches, which additionally have to be supporting using sheeting construction, often very expensively.
Lowerable Manholes
In order to reduce costs for expensive vertical sheeting work and water drainage during manhole construction, the sinking of lowerable manholes is a very economical alternative to local concrete construction or pre-fabricated parts. The manhole is set on the ground and slides, during removal of the core earth in the construction site, evenly via its own weight into the building ground.
Sheeting Systems
To solve the problems of our canal projects, we have developed and built the most varying vertical sheeting systems. A special attention lay here on the absolute strength coherence in the inner-city area. With these systems we are able to lay pipes with diameters of up to 3.5 metres and depths of up to 10 metres.

Mechanical Engineering
Technical innovations and improvements are designed so that they can be subsequently integrated in the existing plant without difficulty. We offer you • mobile screen rakes • stepped rakes • screw screens for the mechanical pre-treatment of the sewage at the sewage treatment plant inlet which are tailor-made to your requirements. The entire plant is made of stainless steel in order to provide an optimal protection against corrosion. The plants from UWA meet the high demands as regards - a long-life quality - precision and safety - low maintenance expenditure and operating costs. The mechanical engineering is completed by an automatic control system.
