Membrane Bioreactor (MBR)
Toray"s Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) process is a combination of biological wastewater treatment and membrane filtration. Biodegradable pollution is reduced using bacteria and microorganisms. Following biological treatment, the biological sludge is separated from the treated water by a microfiltration membrane.
Compressed air shot-blasting machines
The compressed air automatic blasting machines can be employed even with non-metallic shots, such as ceramic, aluminium oxide, glass, which cannot be used in the airless machines.
Hook type shot-blasting machine - DELTA
The shot-blasting machines type “DELTA” are the most versatile in terms of typical employment and size of the materials to be treated. In fact the customer can choose the size and loading capacity of the machine according to the parts to be shot-blasted. The materials are hanged on the hook, and this is manually or automatically transferred into the blasting room. Once in position, the hook starts to rotate on its axis and move back and forward in front of the turbines (mounted on one side of the machine). These combined movements ensure the complete shot-blasting of the parts external surface.
Shot blasting machine with conveyor - NTOR
The tunnel type machine “NTOR” is a continuous shot-blasting unit with a special wear-proof steel wire conveyor. The layout of the machine consists of a tunnel having the blasting room in the middle section. The 4 or 8 turbines are mounted above and below the belt conveyor, and are orientated in a way to ensure the perfect surface covering even for the most complex parts. The final section of the tunnel is provided with a blowing system to remove the shots possibly remaining on the parts. The machine does not require a pit, and is supplied complete with a self-cleaning dry cartridges dust collector.
Shot-blasting machine with rolls conveyor - GAMMA
The tunnel type machine “GAMMA” is a continuous shot-blasting unit with a motorised rolls conveyor, employed for surface treatment of plates, profiles, pipes and steel structures. The number and location of the turbines are optimised to ensure the full coverage of the materials transported by the conveyor. By the frequency inverter for the rolls conveyor driving unit, the operator can choose the best compromise between the production speed and the final result, depending on materials condition before shot-blasting. A blowing and brushing device ensure the shots removal from the surface of the blasted parts. The machine type “GAMMA” can be installed “in-line” with a painting facility. For plates only it is also available the model with the conveyor in vertical position (type “VERT”). The shot-blasting unit is supplied complete with a self-cleaning dry cartridges dust collector.
Control System Solutions
The TMS-1000 Series of turbine controllers are built on the most advanced PLC platforms available today; these systems are designed using the latest in Distributed Control System philosophy. With our hardware independent approach, one can use technology and parts already common to their plant.
ElectroFlo® Electronic Fuel Control Valve
Fast and accurate flow control for combustion turbine applications is more accessible with the ElectroFlo® Electronic Control Valve. Developed by TTS, the ElectroFlo® Valve surpasses the response and accuracy of most pneumatic and high pressure hydraulic systems, while eliminating many of the complications associated with each.
TMS® Family
For total turbine systems and plant management, we invite you to explore our Turbine Management Systems (TMS) family of system solutions. This comprehensive approach consists of individual components, that include Turbine Control Systems, Balance of Plant Control Systems, NOx Abatement Systems, Turbine Auxiliary Systems, Combustion Dynamics Monitoring Systems, Human Machine Interface Systems, as well as the patented, TTS-designed ElectroFlo® Valve and Mastermind™ online operations and maintenance software package.
A Troliner
A Troliner being unwound and drawn into the sewer line. Section lengths of up to 200 m are available depending on the specific line I.D. to be rehabbed.
Lateral connections
In addition to conventional connection methods such as grout or resin injection and open-cut installed PE or PVC saddle flanges, Trolining offers the following state-of-the-art solutions for lateral connections: • Inverted HDPE saddles • HDPE pipe sections
Rehabilitation of man-entry pipes by installation of HDPE segments
The TROLINING System is also employable for the rehabilitation of pipes larger than 2000mm (or 80 inch) I.D.. HDPE segments or sheets are introduced into the host pipe and joined to each other by PE extrusion welding according DVS standard 2207, part 4, to form a continuous lining section.
Robotic Systems
Rehabilitation of non-man-sized lines in the range of 250 to 600mm (or 10 to 24 inch) I.D. is done with the aid of proprietary robot technology which executes cutting and lateral connections in accordance with state-of-the-art standards. Exceptional connection quality is achieved with our inverted HDPE saddle
About Ultraviolet (UV) Light and Water Quality
Confidence in our water -- clean, safe water -- has been increasingly challenged over the past decade. Ten years ago, how many of us had heard of E. coli, Cryptosporidium or Giardia? Today, these waterborne bacteria and parasites are almost as well known as polio, typhoid, and cholera were to a past generation. High-profile, waterborne disease outbreaks in Canada and the United States have made us all aware that water contaminated with microorganisms can cause serious illness and death.
