AMEX®-10 VARIO Seal
The AMEX®-10 VARIO Seal bases on the principle of the AMEX®-10 MONO Seal. Numberless VARIO Seals can be connected to an endless unit by choice. Each AMEX®-10 VARIO Seal is geared and secured to the next seal, this avoiding a replacement and sliding. The VARIO System always starts or ends with an AMEX®-10 MONO Seal in the width between 260 – 500 mm. It is possible to combine all components of the AMEX®-10 Internal Sealing System, such reaching a high flexibility during installation.
Area of application of the AMEX®-10 MONO Seal
Man accessible pipes The AMEX®-10 MONO Seal is suitable to seal pipe joints and leaks in diameters from 500/600 to 5.800 mm and larger as well as containers made of steel, cast iron, reinforced concrete, concrete made in place, PVC, AC, GLP and PE. Non – accessible pipes In the diameters 250 – 500 mm the AMEX®-10 MONO Seal is used to seal Area of application of the AMEX®-10 MONO Seal EPDM rubber seal SS retaining bands MDPE backing band joint connections at branches in accessible pipes or as an end seal for liners. Pressure rating In general the AMEX®-10 MONO Seal is designed for an internal pressure rating of 20 bar. If higher pressure is involved the AMEX®-10 MONO Seal can be reinforced with fabric. AMEX®-10 MONO Seal works safe in infiltration situations by involving static support. Profile of pipe Circular profile, elliptical profile, egg shape profile, mouth profile, and cornered profile, e.g. quadrangular profile. Temperature/Liquid standard material: –10 °C bis +100 °C special material: up to 140 °C constant load Material selection: EPDM:potable water, storm water, raw water, sewer, leaches, soft acids NBR: gas, oil With critical liquids the rubber mix and the steel will be chosen in accordance with the analysis of the liquid

800 the classic enamel
New products and new process techniques are creating both larger areas of use and more exacting requirements for surface protection in plant engineering. We catered for these requirements when developing our “Glass Lining Technologies”.
TML drainage pipes and fittings for underground installation
The coating system of TML drainage pipes and fittings is based on EN 877, which says that the use of SML pipes for underground installation, which had been practiced for years, is no longer admissible. TML pipes and fittings are suitable up to soil class II, evaluation no. -5 up to -10 (as per German DVGW worksheet GW9).
Mechanical Engineering
Technical innovations and improvements are designed so that they can be subsequently integrated in the existing plant without difficulty. We offer you • mobile screen rakes • stepped rakes • screw screens for the mechanical pre-treatment of the sewage at the sewage treatment plant inlet which are tailor-made to your requirements. The entire plant is made of stainless steel in order to provide an optimal protection against corrosion. The plants from UWA meet the high demands as regards - a long-life quality - precision and safety - low maintenance expenditure and operating costs. The mechanical engineering is completed by an automatic control system.
Dry Toilets and Compostors
Ekomatic composting toilet is ideal for your vacation home in the country. Ekomatic is easy to maintain and correctly assembled and used it gives no offensive odours. It has a capacity to serve a family of four for a whole summer season. The toilet is made of strong polyethene plastic which is durable and stands cold weather. After each visit you turn the handle of the doser container to spread some composting substance into the toilet bowl. L&T Bio-Life is the best possible composting substance based on peat and cutter chips. When the bowl is full you take it out and empty it into a compost heap or compostor for maturing. Mature compost looks like plain good garden earth. Use the mature compost to nourish ornamental plants, not kitchen plants or other eatables.

Manhole covers cast iron frames
The FI access covers for customised surfaces can be ideally adapted to the local surface covering by inserting the paving required into the lid of the access cover. The cover can be filled with conventional paving and surfacing materials (tiles, flagstones, granite, marble, laminated wood, carpets or other materials). The SECANT® access covers available in various lengths and are a very flexible access cover system because the design and the materials open up an enormous range of applications. The SERVOKAT® access covers with easy opening features are the ideal solution for access shafts which are frequently opened for maintenance and inspection purposes. High quality is guaranteed by the ability to integrate the access cover in a wide range of paved surfaces. SERVOKAT® access covers comply with all safety regulations. TRIGONA – the new cable shaft cover with triangular trap doors. Optimum design, innovative technology and efficient material selection guarantee easy opening and closing of the individually removable trap doors which are rattle-free thanks to the triple-point supporting frame. The weight of each individual door is reduced to less than 25 kg – TRIGONA can therefore be operated by one person without any additional lifting gear. The self-locking door cannot close accidentally. The safety lock and self-cleaning hinges are made of ductile cast iron to prevent stress corrosion or contact corrosion. Manhole covers – ductile iron The brand new concept for manhole covers: Multitop® class D 400 in accordance with EN 124. The focus of the new technical concept is safety, weight and maintenance-friendliness. All are incorporated in the new manhole covers developed by ACO. Operation simplified by reducing the cover weight by more than 50%. The cover-lock is traffic-safe and maintenance-free to optimise safety and handling. With two covers and four different frames, the Multitop® manhole cover programme is suitable for more than 90% of all applications.
Roof Drainage - Gravity roof drainage and siphonic roof drainage
Gravity roof drainage in cast iron Flat-roof gullies are installed to drain rain water from roofs, car park decks and terraces. The collected rainwater is drained off via internal drain pipes. Roof gullies Gullies with pressed sealing flanges but without foul-air traps are used for the efficient drainage of roofs. ACO's modular system for this purpose consists of gullies with nominal widths of DN 70, DN 100, DN 125 and DN 150, in one-part or two-part models, plus accessories. Design and production of membrane elements
Membrane supports are made of high-purity alpha-aluminum oxide which ensures maximum permeability and fulfils high requirements regarding mechanical strength. The carriers supports are produced by extrusion and are sintered at temperatures of up to 1,800°C. Only if pure materials and high temperatures are used, supports will be resistant even to very corrosive media liquids and will have a sufficient stability. Then, the filtration membrane is applied in layers, starting with the largest pores and continuing to finest pores having diameters of only a few nanometers (one thousand millionth of a meter, a hundred thousand times smaller than the diameter of a human hair). Depending on the application, membranes are available in alpha-aluminum oxide, titanium oxide or zirconium oxide
Membranes
Depending on the requirements of each particular application, atech innovations offers a wide range of different membrane designs. The standard range includes single-channel and multi-channel membranes with various channel diameters suitable for ultrafiltration (starting at 5 kD) and microfiltration (up to 1.2 µm).
Products
atech's range of products includes membranes in a wide variety of designs and channel diameters as well as pressure vessels used to arrange the membranes in modules. In addition, the qualified staff and the technical facilities of atech are available for services such as filtering tests or tests on a pilot installation. For long-term tests on site pilot installations are offered for rent.
Air separation
Air separation Depending on each application the following types of separators are used: Wind sifter Zig-zag sifter Function Classification of crushed material and separation into heavy and light fractions Dedusting of material
