experience in fracture-enhanced remediation is unsurpassed
Frac Rite's™ experience in fracture-enhanced remediation is unsurpassed. We have been providing our expertise to clients in Canada, the U.S.A, Europe, and Africa since 1995.
HYDRAULIC SOIL FRACTURING USING THE FRAC RITE™ PROCESS
Hydraulic Soil Fracturing is used to enhance and accelerate the in situ remediation of sites underlain by low permeability problem soils. The FRAC RITE™ process was developed specifically for geo-environmental applications in fine grained sediments. Fracturing is conducted using specialized down hole fracturing equipment designed for various soil types. Our fracturing process creates a network of highly permeable, sand-filled fractures that expedites the recovery or in situ treatment of subsurface contaminants. Soil fracturing can also be used for simultaneously emplacing biological treatment amendments (the BIO FRAC™ process) or chemical amendments to destroy contaminants in situ. Frac Rite's™ innovative services have been helping clients to effectively remediate contaminated sites using biological, chemical, and physical remediation technologies since 1995. Our FRAC RITE™ and BIO FRAC™ processes have been used to cost-effectively accelerate remediation at federal, industrial, and commercial sites in Canada, the U.S.A, and Europe.
Water Cleaning
Within our normal operation range, we remove from the wet scrubber slurry all of the heavy tars and chars as a solids, most of the lighter tars, phenols and aromotics and produce very clean water that is recirculated as part of the wet scrubber process. This recirculation reduces wastewater disposal and fresh water consumption for the wet scrubber process.
Welcome to Odra Sweepers
Technology engineered for the 21st century has to consider its environmental impact, both locally and globally. Our sweepers consume far less fuel than similar competitor models, while using best-in-class components with a reduced operating weight. We’ve accomplish all this without sacrificing performance and durability.

Turbo blowers
APG-Neuros’ Turbo Blower technology was founded in the aerospace and defense industry where Aero Engines were used in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and in the F-16 military aviation program, making the technology tested and reliable. The core of the technology is the patented 3rd generation bump foil air bearing which is oil-free and non-contact, needing no lubricating or associated maintenance thereby resulting in lower vibration from the rotor during operation. Its proven durability and endurance has been demonstrated through 25,000 starts; equivalent to more than twenty years lifetime in a typical operation. Another key technology within the turbo blower is the high efficiency impeller, which is designed using in-house software based on aero gas turbine engine technology. It’s a solid forging impeller machine with 5-axis machining for higher integrity and higher fatigue life, as well as a larger diameter and precise impeller shape combined with optimal speed resulting in higher efficiency. The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) transfers EMF to load rather than windings and slip rings with no physical contact between stator and shaft, offering high precision motor speed control. Driven by sinusoidal PWM algorithm it lowers motor heat rejection and minimizes cooling requirements resulting in energy savings. The High Efficiency Turbo Blower is a “plug and play” product that’s ready to use at the point of delivery with a very quick and easy installation. Everything is pre-assembled and pre-integrated inside the unit in a rigid and hermetic enclosure. Our unit has a 25% smaller footprint than conventional blowers, and can be installed outdoors under a protective shelter in the most extreme climate, both hot and cold. They are also equipped with an easy to operate touch screen (PLC) for easy control, monitoring and diagnostics on the process parameters and blower conditions. Finally, the turbo blower is an efficient, oil-free and environmentally sustainable product providing end users with significant reductions in operating costs through energy savings of up to 40% (according to a third party study) and low installation and maintenance costs – only air filters need periodical cleaning or changing. Other important benefits include much lower noise and vibration, durability, and reliability. The turbo blowers are designed to provide up to 20,000 SCFM with a pressure which can reach 15 psig according to the capacity of the engine from 30 to 600 HP. The “Dual Core” units, NX400 to NX700 (700HP) produce 3,000 to 20,000 SCFM with two turbo blower cores operating within the same enclosure. This makes it possible to considerably reduce the space footprint compared to the conventional technologies.
aerobic wastewater treatment systems
In aerobic wastewater treatment systems, aerobic biomass in the presence of oxygen converts organics in the wastewater into carbon dioxide and new biomass. ADI Systems has aerobic treatment technologies that act as stand-alone treatment systems for treating the raw wastewater or provide aerobic polishing of anaerobically pretreated wastewater for further removal of BOD, TSS, nitrogen, and phosphorus. Aerobic treatment can also be used specifically for removal of nitrogen, and phosphorus - also known as BNR, or biological nutrient removal system. ADI Systems has extensive experience designing and building aerobic treatment systems worldwide for stand-alone treatment systems or to polish anaerobic effluent to meet a variety of discharge limits. Our ADI-MBR technology is capable of producing very high-quality effluent with very low effluent nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations, suitable for meeting strict discharge limits. ADI-MBR effluent also meets RO feed water quality for tertiary treatment.

Valve Pit Vacuum Main Vacuum Station
The 1-piece rotationally molded PE valve pit package consists of the 3” AIRVAC vacuum valve, an upper chamber and lower chamber, the in-sump breather unit, and the air intake. The valve pit serves as the conduit through which sewage from homes enters the vacuum sewer system, flowing via gravity into the sealed sump that is part of the pit package. Sewage level sensing is remarkably simple. As the sewage rises, air trapped inside the empty 2” (50 mm) diameter sensor pipe pushes in a diaphragm in the valve's controller/sensor unit, signaling the valve to open. When 10 gallons (38 liters) of sewage accumulates in the sump, the valve automatically opens. The differential air pressure propels the sewage at velocities of 15-18 ft/sec (4.5 to 5.5 m/s), disintegrating solids while being transported to the vacuum station. The valve stays open for four to six seconds during this cycle.
