Grit Separation
For reasons of operating reliability of wastewater treatment plants it is necessary to separate the grit transported with the wastewater and other mineral materials (approx. 60 l / 1000 m³ of wastewater) from the digestible organic material.
Screenings Treatment
The complete HUBER program for screenings treatment systems: screenings washing, dewatering, compaction, transport and disinfection
Storm & Sewer Equipment
Advanced combined and stormwater treatment in municipal combined sewers is a main issue with regard to sustainable environmental and water protection. The quality of many watercourses has significantly been increased meanwhile by building new wastewater treatment plants and upgrading or refurbishing continuous wastewater discharges. Despite all these efforts, however, there are still ecological deficits caused by floating and coarse material that is discharged from the sewer system into waters in the event of stormwater overflow discharge in combined and separated sewer systems. For the purpose of specific environmental protection appropriate measures will have to be taken in future to minimise these deficits.
Wastewater Screens
The mechanical preliminary treatment: Indispensable as a first process step ! Reliable screens for any application Fine and micro screens for separation of fine suspended material Innovative technology from one source
HUNING Biogas plants
Agricultural waste - Energy crops - Waste from restaurants - Waste from food processing industries - Waste form slaughterhouses - Sewage sludge
Screening / mixing
Screening / mixing Because organic waste may no longer be disposed of on landfills from 2005 onwards, HUNING Umwelttechnik has developed special procedures to prepare sludge from pond clearances and tip head clearances for thermal utilization, i.e. incineration, through mixing and screening. Sludge that contain little dry substance are prepared using a special mixing process, so that a mixture is produced that is suitable for transport and disposal. In addition, HUNING also carried out the difficult loading work with dried sewage sludge or coal dust. The machines used here have special equipment to enable them to be operated in areas where there is a risk of explosion.
Sludge disposal
HUNING - back to nature with the latest technology! The key utilization channels for sewage sludge is the disposal, agricultural use, reclamation and recultivation, composting and thermal utilization. The drying of the sludge is a good way to reduce volume and costs. Sewage sludge and organic residue Sewage sludge from local authority schemes contains important vegetable nutrients and organic substances with high fertilizer value. Their utilization in agriculture and for renaturalization is the rational answer when impeccable quality is assured. The basis for utilization is provided by sewage sludge within the terms of the German Ordinance on Waste Treatment.
Sludge treatment systems
HUNING - your expert partner for sludge treatment Stationary systems > Mobile systems > CENTRIDRY© > Mobile systems for fast development at short time notice Machines available with a throughput between 10 and 120 m³/h Dewaterig and thickenink of municipal and industrial sludge
Compact shredder baler combination
Innovative ata destruction for banks, insurances, public services, data centers, etc. The compact shredder baler combination is the right solution for the highest requirements in continuous operation. A high performance shredder, combined with a fully automatic press, guarantees high throughput. Entire folders of documents, files, etc. and stacks of paper can be shredded and compressed.
Fully automatic data destruction system
Efficient components get together for one complete and central system in order to ensure a secure data destruction with high throuput performance. Based on our substantiated know-how we create solutions completely adjusted on your requirements. Feeding the system can be carried out manually by a funnel or tipping device or even automatic by a conveyor belt. The high performance of the shredders ensures a high safety level. After shredding the documents and data files it is possible to compress it by baler or briquetting press to reduce its volume.
Innovative waste extraction
Innovate waste extraction starts where ever processing waste occures and has to be removed out of the production process by direct collection, exhausting and transportation. By a closed piping system this material is getting fed to the disposal room. Hunkeler Paperprocessing Pre- and post-solutions for high-performance digital printer systems Modular systems for the production of forms and direct mailings
Static compactor type STV
The series of STV is designed for the continuous compaction of various materials. These models are able to process very large volumes and can be placed directly along the building or in the disposal central in order to implement it into the complete production and evacuation plant. The containers are movable and can taken away easily for the transport to the raw material dealer or combustor.
DataLogger
Function principle The datalogger system, as stand alone instrument, is a help for the decision of the regeneration mode. Not all vehicles have such a permanent high exhaust gas temperature that a passive regeneration system functions with certainty. For offering an optimal filter system an integrated data logger makes it possible to record back pressure, temperature and RPM. This allows a professional documentation of data and reports. The use of a datalogger system is especially important, when the vehicles are operated under changing conditions (for example the Stop & Go Traffic)
Filter Elements
A diesel particle filter has to grant two things: It has to filter the harmful diesel particles out of the exhaust gases and it has to be able, by regeneration, to get rid of these particles afterwards. Filtration and Regeneration are therefore the two main functions of a diesel particulate filter. The Filtration is done by a special filter medium. The 20 years of experience has shown that a ceramic based filter medium made from Silicon Carbide (SiC) best fulfils the requirements . The combination of excellent soot collection rate and low backpressure performance qualifies SiC to be one of the best available materials for filtering soot particles.
MA-System
Function principle The modular designed MA-system is integrated in the exhaust piping of the vehicle, most of the times in place of the original muffler. The filter medium is made of Silicium Carbid (SiC), a high-tech ceramic. The filter is able to load the harmful diesel particles out of the exhaust up to 99.9% collection rate. The regeneration of the filter takes place while driving mode, after a certain soot load is reached in the filter and there is a minimum exhaust gas temperature. The entire process is supervised by the HUSS ACS control device.
W-System
The W-system is integrated in the exhaust piping of the vehicle, mostly instead of the original muffler. The exchangeable filter system consists out of exhaust inlet unit, which is integrated on the vehicle and the exchangeable filter cartridges. The cartridges are connected to the exhaust inlet by fast-release clamps. The filter medium is Silicium Carbid (SiC) a high-tech ceramic. The filter is able to load the harmful diesel particles between 8 and 10 working hours. Then the maximum allowed backpressure is reached and the filter needs to be regenerated. Depending on the filter size, the regeneration is completely over in 1 to 1.5 hours. For this purpose the loaded cartridge is removed from the vehicle and put on an external electrical heating. The entire process is supervised by the HUSS ZA1 control device. The vehicle is equipped with a fresh, unloaded cartridge and can go on immediately

Hydro-Brake® Flow Control
Overview A self-activating device that uses vortex technology to control and attenuation flow in collection systems. The Hydro-Brake® Flow Control is a self-activating vortex flow control device that provides superior hydraulic performance over conventional flow regulators with patented features that reduce maintenance requirements.
Hydro-Static® Screen
Overview Page A cost-effective, non-powered screen for the control of gross solids and floatables in combined sewer systems. Designed to complement Hydro International’s wide range of CSO Screening products, the Hydro-Static® Screen provides screening better than 6 mm in two directions.
Swirl-Flo®
