	ROTARY TABLE FILTERS Rotary Table Filters (RTF) are used to filter NaClO3 as well as other heavy salts and sludge, particularly when efficient multistage cake washing is necessary. The cake is formed by feeding solids and mother liquid to the feed box and by spreading the solids smoothly on the filter surface by an adjustable plough. The cake is washed in several lines and discharged by means of a screw and pressurized air. A thin layer of cake is left on the filter surface to form a pre-coat media, which improves filtering and protects the table surface. The filter is driven by a variable speed drive through a reduction and girth gear. The table runs on a horizontal guide roller bearing. The normal rotation speeds are 0,1 – 0,6 rpm and 0,2 – 1,2 rpm.
