Albania: VAT Removed for Imported Machinery and Equipment

The Regulatory Task Force chaired by the Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha decided on Tuesday to remove the Value Added Tax (VAT) for imported machinery and equipment.

It also announced the creation of a single National Business and Labor Council as an institution which will increase dialogue between the business community in Albania and state institutions.
