Romania's strong wind market has pushed the country into 10th place in a global attractiveness ranking for investments in wind energy, according to a report from Ernst & Young, newswires reported. In its quarterly report on renewable energy attractiveness, E&Y said: "In Romania, the private wind energy company Monsson
Group began construction on its 150MW wind park worth EUR245m. This has nudged the east European country four places up the rankings to 10th place alongside Poland and Ireland,"
Romania scored 47 points in the all renewables index, keeping steady at 13th. The index includes all types of renewable energy, namely wind, solar, geothermal, biomass and other.
