IKEA purchases 33.600 hectares of forests in Romania

Swedish household furniture giant IKEA group confirmed the purchase in 33.600 hectares of forests central and north-eastern Romania. The worth of the purchase was not mentioned, nevertheless the marketplace price of 1 hectare of forest in this location suggested that IKEA probably invested around EUR 100 million. 1 hectare of forests in Romania is worth around EUR 3 ,000-4000.
