Vill-Korr to build biogas power plant in west Hungary

Vill-Korr Energia will build a HUF 800-850 million biogas-fuelled power plant next to the company's existing wind power plant in Csorna (NW Hungary) by the end of 2012, the regional daily Kisalföld reported.

The company will sell the power generated at the 800 kW plant to the town's district heating provider.

Owner László Gasztonyi said Vill-Korr-Energia is currently seeking permits to build a 400-500kW solar-power plant at the site as well.
