Bulgaria: Bulgaria cuts feed-in tariffs by 50% for solar and 22% for wind
Bulgaria's energy regulator DKER has decided to cut drastically feed-in tariffs for wind and solar power plants connected between July 1, 2012 and July 2013.
Wind FiTs will be reduced by 22% while those for solar power will be cut by more than 50%. The regulator also raised prices for consumers, increasing them by 13% from July 1. It said that a large part of the increase was because of the growing proportion of more expensive green energy.
