Electro-Coord Magyarország Nonprofit on Monday started operating an almost HUF 500 million fluorescent light recycling plant in Mezőkovácsháza (SE Hungary), project manager Béla Kovács said.
The construction of the plant, which can recycle 500-600 tonnes of the lights a year, was supported by European Union cross-border funding, Kovács said. The plant will recycle lights from Romania as well as Hungary, he added.
