Spanish renewable energy company Iberdrola Renovables has started operation of three wind farms with a total generating capacity of 70 MW in Hungary.
Spanish renewable energy company Iberdrola Renovables has started operation of three wind farms with a total generating capacity of 70 MW in Hungary. One of the wind farms has a capacity of 36 MW and is located in the town of Nagyigmad. The other two have capacities of 26 MW and 8 MW respectively and were established in Ikervar. The three facilities are equipped with G90 wind turbines (unit capacity 2 MW) provided by Gamesa, a priority supplier for Iberdrola Renovables in Hungary
The company now has five wind farms in Hungary, with a combined capacity of 158 MW. Total wind capacity in Hungary amounts to 330 MW.
