Every country with in the EU has to have in place plans for meeting its Green energy targets and Poland is no different. Poland will have GHG emissions under the targets set out by the Kyoto Protocol and its estimated that the surplus for the 2008-2012 period will be 500 million of AAU’s which is assumed to be the third largest surplus with in Europe behind Russia and the Ukraine. There for Poland will be able to trade its carbon credits and the proceeds of this will be able to be spent on hard green project and green energy projects.
