Only six percent of Poles fear losing their jobs next year, finds an opinion poll by the IQS researchers.
Despite the announcement by the Central Statistical Office last week that unemployment increased to 11.4 percent in November, Poles remain relatively optimistic about their financial prospects for 2010.
Just eight percent fear a fall in income; six percent are troubled that they might not be able to repay a loan.
Thirty percent described themselves as optimists as the decade comes to an end with 16 percent considering themselves gloom-mongers. (pg)
