From September 2015, a new Hungarian-Slovak incubator, the Pócsmegyer, will start full operation. The incubator will give the much needed support to small and medium scale industries.
This project which was meant to give support to enterprises between Slovakia and Hungary was conceptualised by the italian-Slovak chamber of commerce in conjunction with its Hungarian Partner.
According to statement made by Giorgio Dovigi, the general secretary of TSOK, to TASR newswire ‘The incubator was designed to help entrepreneurs launch and successfully improved their business activities in the two countries and also to bring about improvement in the business relations especially among the strategic partners, the major aim is to bring increase competitiveness in the border of the region’.
A total space of 1,433 square metres is offered by the incubator, it can also serve as a start-up residence for an entrepreneur in the first five years. Since it is important to ensure that the operation of the incubator is cost effective, the incubator space is design in the co-working model so that several businesses can use the same rooms in turns.
The Hungarian counterpart of TSOK, BCE InnovációsKözpontNonprofitKft, similarly believed that the centre was being inspirational for budding business entrepreneurs.
