The 3rd Shenzhen International Low-Carbon City Forum will be held from June 17 to 18 in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, with the theme of "Cities' Transition to Green and Low-Carbon Development."
The forum, which comprises of a major forum and 13 Subforums, is designed to offer a platform for encouraging global collaboration on low-carbon development as well as discussing governmental techniques to climate change and sustainable development. In excess of 1 ,500 representatives of governments, international organizations, multinational corporations, think tanks and scientific research agencies from close to 50 nations and regions worldwide will attend the forum.
The forum is going to give attention to key topics to be raised at the upcoming 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, that will be organized in Paris from Nov. 30th to Dec. 11th. The event will in addition demonstrate China’s initiatives to save energy and reduce emissions in a bid to create practical efforts to tackling global climate change.
