Nederman has made a decision to close their production unit in Arboga and move these business activities to the Nederman production unit in Marki, Poland.
The Arboga division has been a production and assembling unit of machining equipment for the recycling and eco-friendly handling process within the machining industry. Anders Franzén, VP Operations, Nederman, “Our decision to move these activities from Sweden to Poland is a direct outcome of the present integration procedure of our acquired company Dantherm Filtration. Our objective with the relocation is to further strengthen our competiveness within this market. The transfer process of the business activities to Poland will commence immediately and are estimated to be completed by the end of the first quarter, 2011.
The close down in Arboga will affect a total of 16 blue- and white collar workers whereupon negotiations with the Trade Union begins directly.
