European Topic Centre on Water
The European Topic Centre on Water (ETC/W) is an international consortium brought together to support the European Environment Agency (EEA) in its mission to deliver timely, targeted, relevant and reliable information to policy-makers and the public for the development and implementation of sound environmental policies in the European Union and other EEA member countries. The intention is to establish a seamless environmental information system to assist the Commission and EEA member countries in their attempts to improve the environment, move towards sustainability and integrate environmental policies with other sectors such as economic, social, transport, industry, energy and agriculture.

The European Water Association (EWA)
The European Water Association (EWA) is an independent non-governmental and non-profit making organisation dealing with the management and improvement of the water environment. It was founded on 22 June 1981 as the European Water Pollution Control Association. The scope of the Association was enlarged in 1999 with the change of name to the European Water Association. It is one of the major professional associations in Europe that covers the whole water sector, wastewater as well as drinking water and water and wastewater treatment related wastes. With member associations from nearly all European Countries, the EWA includes most of the current European Union Member States as well as Croatia, Norway and Switzerland.

Ukrainian Water Association

Croatian Water Pollution Control Society
The Croatian Water Pollution Control Society is a voluntary, non-profit association of citizens and legal entities joined together to promote water protection and other forms of water management. The CWPCS was established in 1979 as the first environmental organization in this part of Europe. It was established by a group of enthusiasts at a time when water protection activity was in its infancy.

Bulgarian Water Association (BWA)
The Bulgarian Water Association (BWA) is a non-profit organization which was established on December 1 st , 2005 in Sofia as a result of the merger of the Bulgarian Water Supply and Sewerage Association (BAWK) and the Bulgarian National Association of Water Quality (BNAWQ).
Members of Association are juridical and natural persons, who are involved in the water supply and wastewater disposal (WSW) field, including quality and treatment of drinking-, industrial-, agricultural- and waste water; management, preservation and utilization of water resources; floods.
