ExxonMobil to drill at least six wells

According to Parkiet, an online Polish business daily, ExxonMobil will drill up to six wells from Q3 of 2012 to Q4 of 2013.

Company reprsentatives yesterday confirmed to the Ministry of Environment that ExxonMobil will complete 6 wells, and up to 2 more, as well as a seismic program in the administrative districts of Garwolin and Łuków.

ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Poland Sp z o.o., holder of concessions for the exploration of unconventional gas, is obliged to drill a minimum number of wells, according to the mining and geological plan submitted and approved along with their concession application.

However, the company’s plans were uncertain after a recent earnings call that revealed the first two wells drilled to date by ExxonMobil were dry wells.
