Romania: Enel will raise its interests in Romanian distribution company

The Romanian Government has approved selling 13.7% of shares in the distribution company Electrica Muntenia Sud to Enel for €375m. The transaction should be complete in two months. Enel already acquired a majority stake of 64.4% in Electrica Muntenia Sud in 2007 for €820m.
