Information services The main event for the Euroinfo Centre (EIC) in 2004 was, of course, Estonia’s accession to the European Union (EU). As much attention was paid to information dissemination during the previous years,
Contact services and international cooperation The main objective of the Department of International Relations in 2004 was mediation of information on interesting markets to Estonian companies and promotion of exports through various events (43 different events).
Foreign Trade services Accession to the European Union brought about great changes in foreign trade policy. Instead of a separate foreign trade policy,Estonia has to proceed from a common system of the EU. Companies operating in foreign trade had to adjust to a completely different situation.
